[edit]It is not helpful to define wrong as the opposite of right. If I know the one I know the other. Psb777 03:05, 13 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Ahhh, but Psb777, what if your "right" is my "wrong?" It's not that simple! --Mpwrmnt 19:07, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
"The Wrong word is for the movie Wrong Turn. Go the Google and the keyword is wrong Turn."
This makes no sense. At all. ^^This has since been changed.
Or is depend to situecion sorry me inglesh Ignacio Saavedra Balandran (talk) 19:37, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Hello, Saavedra Balandran, I know this is a talk page, but this talk page is not like Facebook where you can shorten or spell words incorrectly. Please make sure to check for spelling/ puntuation errors next time you send a message. Thank you for your patience. Sparklestern (talk) 22:08, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
Wrong opposite of right
[edit]I don't think this is strictly true. It also seems a potentially circular definition. Can someone suggest a better way to put this? Cazort 15:57, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Broader topics are more likely to be less defined. -zbo —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.207.113.136 (talk) 06:27, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Frong
[edit]Who is this WTFrong that edited this page twice and put in an irrelevant joke? I searched for them on the Special:ListUsers page, but for some reason, they weren't there, just a user named WTFrushton. Has this user changed their name? - - ジリー 06:14, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
I request to move this page in order to reduce vandal attacks
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: moved to Wrongdoing. No consensus to move the dab page. Jenks24 (talk) 09:57, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
– This page, being a common word and situated at the base name, makes it a easy target for vandals, as the edit history shows. To reduce the degree of damage to this article, it should be renamed as detailed above and the dab page moved here; because dab pages do not contain any article content but rather links to other articles with that name, they suffer less from vandal attacks compared to regular articles. We should also note that the word wrong is more commonly used when it is an antonym for right, a page which is itself being discussed. <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 03:01, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support move to either Wrongdoing or to something like Wrong (ethics and law) with the second option presented even though "Wrongdoing" clearly meets the fundamental requirements of UCRN. Oppose Wrong (disambiguation) → Wrong. No reasoned response has been presented to issues raised at, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation/Malplaced disambiguation pages#If disambiguation pages are lists of "Foogles" wouldn't less ambiguous titles be Foogle (disambiguation) or List of F/foogles?. If anything Wrong should be left as a redirect to the moved to location as is standard practice. GregKaye 05:57, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sovereign Sentinel (talk • contribs) 11:38, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support moving this page to Wrongdoing, but oppose moving the disambiguation page. Per GregKaye, Wrong should redirect to Wrongdoing. bd2412 T 03:55, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Merge Violation of law with this article

Added qualifier to parking offenses
[edit]Some things for which tickets in the nature of parking tickets are issued do have a clear moral element, for example: special-needs parking space violations, or parking that blocks traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists). so I added 'many types' to accommodate that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.144.11.151 (talk) 03:49, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
