Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sscanf

Another apparently lost/orphaned VfD nom, as the tag was added November 23, but it doesn't seem to have ever been placed on the main VfD page--also not on "old" (and is an has no links from VfD-related pages). Procedural/abstain--apparently a detailed library function definition from a Linux Programmer's Manual. If somebody thinks it could possibly become encyclopedic it seems to need some serious cleanup. - Delete. Purely a copy-and-paste from the sscanf manpage. Not encyclopedic. David Johnson 19:24, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Despite the presence of some things that haven't been nominated for VfD, man pages are not encyclopedic. Geogre 19:46, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Probably a copyvio too, the manpages for glibc are probably GPL, which isn't compatible with GFDL. --fvw* 19:56, 2004 Nov 27 (UTC)

- Delete. We're not a set of manpages. If you need to know about this, chances are very very good that you already have the documentation on your computer. --Improv 23:16, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
