See green parties for a good example of how to discuss and neutrally describe global political movements - although Islam as a political movement is more diverse than Greens, it seems.

Justice and Development Party od Turkey is not 'islamist'. They adhere to secular principles. The fact that they may be overwhelmingly muslim, like turkish population, does not make the party islamic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.7.64.116 (talk) 02:37, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
