"Recently, gangsta rappers have taken a liking to the city, and proclaiming their love have introduced the lyrics: "You down with Opp?/Yea, you know me!""

This needs to be removed as it is misleading. Although it could be true that gangsta rappers have taken a liking to the city, and quoted those lyrics, Naughty By Nature, the group that "introduced" the lyrics explain the multiple meanings of the initialism quite well in the song's verses.
