  • But you have no problems with Girlfriend? I think it is a bit more than a dictionary entry, but if not, why not put it on Wiktionary:Boyfriend? Brianjd
    • Ofcourse the same goes for girlfriend. I just put them up as I run into them. Transwikiing does sound like the ideal solutionn here yes. --fvw* 05:34, 2004 Nov 28 (UTC)
  • I think the Boyfriend_(disambiguation) page should go on the boyfriend page and the link on that page to the definition should go to the wiktionary entry. I'm not sure if that counts as a delete or what, but the disambiguation page wouldn't make sense left as it is with the main boyfriend page gone. I guess that's a vote for deletion of content but not the actual file for the page... DreamGuy 05:38, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
    • That's a deletion of the page to get rid of the history, at which point we move the dab page and fix up the links. --fvw* 05:51, 2004 Nov 28 (UTC)
      • Fair enough. Delete then... the info on the disambig page definitely has more rights to the page than the current contents, in my opinion. DreamGuy 06:10, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
  • I think that, should the current boyfriend page be deleted, Boyfriend (disambiguation) should have The Boyfriend removed from it and Boyfriend should redirect there, and also have the current link to Boyfriend changed to Wiktionary:Boyfriend. Brianjd

  • Keep. useful encyc article, and way more than dicdef. similarly with girlfriend, although bf is prob done better i reckon. If your going to keep one you should keep the other, so i'll be voting for keep on Girlfriend too.Wifki 07:12, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Current contents are still a mere dictionary definition (though a very good one). It is a discussion about the meaning, origins and usage of a word. Contents have been merged with Wiktionary:Boyfriend. Delete this page in order to make room for moving Boyfriend (disambiguation) to this title. Rossami (talk) 01:55, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
