[edit]I tried my best with the German entry. PSE feel free to translate, as I won't dare... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.114.234.123 (talk) 15:48, 29 January 2005 (UTC)
- Now, you have done it! I translated this myself from my own German version.
- See, what you can do about it. Also, I do not know how to link the photograph from the German issue.
- (And thanks in advance)--Psycho Chicken 14:28, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you all for the corrections and amendments, done to the article. As small as it might be, I still deem it important. ;-) Could there be a photograph somewhere, that the functionaries won't choke and die on? I will not dare to propose the one from the German issue, because I will never again try to understand the policies.--Psycho Chicken 07:40, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Guitar & Drums?
[edit]Are you sure, that Genya plays guitar and drums? I know that I will not stop erring and learning, but this information would be a really big surprise. Are you sure?--Psycho Chicken 13:54, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- I cleaned that up with the recent revert.--84.56.73.200 07:45, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- That was me. Sorry, I forgot to log-in.--Psycho Chicken 07:46, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't know about guitar, but I'm pretty sure she mentions that she plays drums in her book.71.190.81.108 (talk) 03:52, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
Different thing
[edit]You may know by now, that I am a fan. I need to be cautious not to exaggerate in the text I edited, but I came about this short description of Genya Ravan: "The Crown Mother Of Rock". Although this is probably not as encyclopaedic as the catchwords in this encyclopaedia are meant to be, there is this one quality of the person and her work, which cannot be written out in short: She was the first and most influential at her time in about everything she did. Could there be a paragraph in the existing article, where The Crown Mother Of Rock might well be an acceptable addtition? I did not want to lose this, and had to ask.--Psycho Chicken 11:43, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that at the very least, both Grace Slick and Janis Joplin were both much better known, certainly overwhelmingly more commercially successful, and are much better remembered today - what you proposed would have been unacceptable fan-cruft. 50.111.30.20 (talk) 17:20, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
"Free Image"
[edit]Genya had once sent me a picture for publication with the German article (de:Genya Ravan). Later, I have had so much trouble, first to understand what a free image is, then to keep another photo, authorized by the proprietor, in the English Wikipedia, that I will not try any more to contribute images, other than those I have taken myself. If you feel like integrating the said picture in this article, I am merely dead-certain, that nobody will cause you trouble, but that does not mean anything, I know. PSE, whatever you choose to do, do not try to explain it to me. TY. --Psycho Chicken (talk) 12:06, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
external links
[edit]the "youtube" link doesnt link to youtube; in fact, none of them do. not sure if it should be renamed or removed but it cant (or shouldnt) stay like that --92.193.30.207 (talk) 07:39, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
