Welcome, newcomer!
Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:
- First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
- When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!
- Remember to use a neutral point of view!
- If you need any help, feel free to post a question at the Help Desk
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Also, here are some odds and ends that I find useful from time to time:
- Wikipedia:Policy Library
- Wikipedia:Utilities
- Wikipedia:Cite your sources
- Wikipedia:Verifiability
- Wikipedia:Wikiquette
- Wikipedia:Civility
- Wikipedia:Conflict resolution
- Wikipedia:Brilliant prose
- Wikipedia:Pages needing attention
- Wikipedia:Peer review
- Wikipedia:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense
- Wikipedia:Village pump
- Wikipedia:Boilerplate text
Image
[edit]Hi. Can you please provide a source for Image:Cormega.jpg and information about what license it's released under? You also need to add an image copyright tag to its image description page. I have to say that it looks to me like you've violated someone's copyright by uploading this photo, in which case you need to list it for deletion. If you have permission to use it then that's great, but you need to supply the details of this permission if we're to keep the image. Thanks. — Trilobite (Talk) 20:19, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
