I'm a 24-year old student of computer science and economics at the University of Technology Darmstadt, Germany. By now, I'm a complete newbie to Wikipedia (with regard to participation - I have been browsing the Wikipedias for quite a while and I really like the idea of the GFDL!).

My interests (of which I plan to contribute to the Wikipedia) are:

  • the game of Chess (I am a quite experienced player with an ELO peak at 2282)
  • linguistics (focus on German, English, French, Swedish and Finnish, which are the languages I'm, more or less, speaking or learning)
  • my hometown Frankfurt am Main, especially its public transport system. I plan to contribute on the English articles related to Frankfurt - the German Wikipedia community has done a lot of good work on the subject already).
  • probably I'll contribute on articles on pop/punk/whatever bands as well, since I think this subject features far too much articles that violate the "Neutral Point Of View".
